A few audio bits from us via Cinch. We haven’t disappeared, we’ve just been using a fast mobile version to capture our audio content. Thanks for sticking with us my friends. Cheers!
We finally tracked down our Bantai Civet Coffee contest winner, Michael Madison. Luckily we were also able to convince Dustin Butler, owner of Bantai Civet Coffee to join us for another tasting. Yeah, we know it’s self serving since we will also get to drink some of this $320/lb coffee. However this time we’re ready for the big buzz. Going plaid is a forgone conclusion. Join us for some coffee fun!
A special thanks to Janie at the San Antonio Coffee Roasters aka What’s Brewing for allowing us to record in their roasting facility. The smell of the coffee is always amazing!
We are finally getting back together with Dustin Butler of Forrest Blends LLC to award our lucky contest winner, Michael Madison. We’ll be on BlogTalk Radio for a tasting of that famously delicious Bantai Civet coffee.
Raise those pinky fingers & join us tomorrow morning at 9:30am (CST) for a live show on location at San Antonio Coffee Roasters.
The Coffee Gals were lucky enough to go behind the counter at the Alamo Heights McDonald’s recently. Jackie was the brave soul who went through the process of making a hot McCafe Mocha. Enjoy!

I did it! I found some of the Starbucks Water Soluble Coffee while in the Bloggers Lounge at South By Southwest. Look for a review show with the Coffee Gals coming soon. Here’s a pic for your viewing pleasure.
Jackie and Jennifer are at the Denny’s on the North side of town. Since Denny’s announced during the Superbowl that it wants to feed America, we thought we would do our part to help them.
The coffee was solid, the service was excellent and the staff still smiling and chipper. Kudos to you Denny’s!
The Coffee Gals take the show on road via Utterz for the 3-hour closing of Starbucks.
Our first stop is at Cafe Oasis in the Clear Lake area. Not only did the guy behind the counter know nothing about it, he actually had the guts to tell us, “Coffee is Coffee.” We almost walked out without our coffee when we heard that.
We did stop by 2 Starbucks locations to see if there was any mayhem happening from caffeine-deprived folks. You can hear our thoughts on the whole experience here:
Yeah, we cant’ believe it either. Thanks everyone for hanging in there with us. We’ve had a blast and are looking forward to the next 50.
Today the Coffee Gals spend time with Bau Pham owner of Compassionate Beans. A new coffee shop in the Medical District of Austin, TX. We finally get to try out a cold brew and we love it! As a matter this looks to be our new hot weather drink.
Bau shares his personal coffee history and the story behind Compassionate Beans. We like his business model and hope to see more coffee houses go down the same enlightened path. Cheers to you Bau!
Jackie pulls in an unsuspecting customer, Jill Reiter to discuss the need for a Short-Bus Coffee Ordering Line
