Jennifer and Jackie get chatty with JC Hutchins in preparation for the release of the third and final book in the 7th Son Trilogy.
The Coffee Gals take part in the pre-release hoopla for the long awaited and highly anticipated audio novel. JC recaps Book I: Descent and Book II: Deceit and shares insight into the multi-faceted characters that make up 7th Son. We also reveal the characters that are on our favorites list. Then we get down to what’s really important…..THE COFFEE! We sent JC our favorite coffee (Kona Fancy) from What’s Brewing in advance of the interview. (We had to make sure he was good and caffeinated for the show) So we cover the coffee side of writing not one….not two…but THREE audio novels. A BIG thanks to JC for allowing us to represent The Great State of Texas in his pre-release interviews. We had a lot of fun and can’t wait to hear what’s coming up next for the Beta Clones, John Alpha and the rest of the 7th Son crew. Haven’t listened to the first two books yet? Not to worry. That’s what’s so great about podcasting. You can subscribe now to catch up on all the action. Thanks for subscribing to the Morning BrewCast! We love comments, coffee mug pictures, frappr map pins and feedback: morningbrewcast@gmail.com
We love to record our experiences on-the-fly and use our trusty iRiver IFP-890 to take care of these impromptu sessions. We’re usually not in the studio and so background activities can be heard. Enjoy the run regardless of fellow restaurant patrons and construction crews: Jennifer has another grit experience at a Waffle House with Amy Aubry. This time things turn out different this time. Jackie thinks she knows why. We had the opportunity to chat with Michael Verdi about his recent travels and the importance of coffee. Jackie’s son tries coffee for the first time with mixed results. Perhaps there is one less person she has to worry about in line at the coffee pot. Thanks to Amy & Michael for joining us. We learned a thing or two and most of all we had FUN! Got a coffee or grit story you want to share? Then send us a line at morningbrewcast AT gmail DOT com We still looking for pictures of your favorite coffee mug.
